The Verandah Project is a Tasmanian not-for-profit initiative reimagining how we think about housing. We start from a simple belief: homes are for people, not profit. At this stage, we are an advocacy platform and a provocation — exploring new models, sparking public conversation, and building partnerships. Our aspiration is clear: to grow into a movement that delivers permanently affordable, community-led housing for Tasmania.
